Gor Mahia brought together players, officials, staff, sponsors and supporters for a memorable End-of-Season Awards Dinner held at the The Curve by the Park on the evening of Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
The event served as a celebration of excellence, loyalty and commitment throughout the 2025/26 campaign, recognizing individuals whose contributions helped shape the season both on and off the pitch.
One of the night’s most heartwarming moments came when passionate supporter Toby Ja-Suba was named Fan of the Year. Through victories and setbacks, sunshine and rain, Toby’s unwavering support for K’Ogalo earned him recognition from the entire Gor Mahia family.

On the pitch, Enock Morrison was crowned Player of the Season after a campaign characterized by consistency, influence and quality performances. The midfielder’s contributions made him a standout performer and a deserving recipient of the club’s top individual honour.
Ernest Wendo enjoyed a memorable evening after receiving two prestigious accolades. He was presented with the Chairman’s Award in recognition of his character, commitment and service to the club, while also being named the Most Disciplined Player of the Season.
Veteran defender Philemon Otieno was recognized as the Most Dedicated Player, an award that reflected his professionalism, work ethic and commitment to the green and white jersey.

Paul Ochuoga’s impressive performances at the heart of the defence earned him the Defender of the Season award after a campaign in which he consistently delivered when called upon.
The Goal of the Season award went to Ebenezer Adu-Kwaw for his stunning strike against Sofapaka, a moment of brilliance that captivated supporters and stood out among the season’s finest goals.
Sharif Musa was named the Most Improved Player of the Season, a testament to his growth, determination and continuous development throughout the campaign.

Youngster Bryton Onyona received the Breakthrough Player of the Season award after emerging as one of the club’s most promising talents and showcasing his potential on the big stage.
The celebrations also recognized the people working tirelessly behind the scenes. George Omondi, affectionately known as Omosh, was honoured as the club’s longest-serving, most loyal and dedicated staff member, highlighting his invaluable contribution to Gor Mahia over the years.
The awards ceremony reflected the spirit of unity that exists within the Gor Mahia family, celebrating not only achievements on the field but also loyalty, discipline, dedication and service.
As the curtain falls on the 2025/26 season, the End-of-Season Awards Dinner provided an opportunity to honour those who carried the club’s badge with pride while setting the stage for the challenges and ambitions of the upcoming campaign.
