Gor Mahia technical committee headed by Hon. John Pesa held a meeting today with the technical staff to solve what seemed to be a rift in the technical bench.

Confirming the details of the meeting to the official Gor Mahia website, club’s CEO Lordvick Aduda said that all went well and parties involved apologised and promised to work together.

“We held a meeting today with the technical bench staff – head coach Dylan Kerr, Assistant coach Zedekiah Otieno, Team Manager Jolawi Obondo and goalkeeper trainer Willis Ochieng’ to discuss and find a lasting solution to the unfortunate incident in Mombasa yesterday,” said Aduda.

“There was a misunderstanding between some members of the technical staff which lead to what happened Mbaraki. All parties involved have apologised to each other, to the team, to the club’s management, to all stakeholders and to Gor Mahia fan base at large.”

“It was necessary to hold such a meeting to understand what the problem was and probably find a good solution to it. We are glad we managed to handle it well and the technical staff will continue to work together without any problem like they have been doing,” he added.

An incident involving the head coach Kerr and goalkeeper trainer Ochieng’ erupted which led to exchange of words by the sideline at Mbaraki.

Gor Mahia trained today in the morning at Camp Toyoyo in preparation for Friday’s match against Posta Rangers in Kisumu.
