Caf match tickets will be available on Wednesday

Gor Mahia treasurer Sally Bolo has released an update about Gor Mahia – USM Alger match tickets.

ln a statement sent to the official club’s website, Bolo said the tickets will go for Sh500 for VIP and Sh200 for regular stands and will go on sale on Wednesday – selling points to be advised in good time.

“As officials of Gor Mahia, we have received all concerns and request to have the match day regular ticket at Sh100 for the Gor Mahia versus USM Alger, which will be played on Wednesday 16th May 2018.

“The Executive Committee of the Club had already presented to the Confederation (CAF) for approval the match day ticket prices for VIP at Sh500 and the regular tickets at Sh200 which has been approved by CAF and will be available on Wednesday with selling points to be advised later in good time. To change the charges will be difficult – as per CAF rules.

“However, the Executive promises to look into the issue in our subsequent games,” read the statement.

“For the club to competitively participate in each of the group stage matches of CAF’s Confederation tournament, it requires a minimum budget of approximately Sh8 million for each of its home and away matches.

“In order to shoulder this budget and avoid similar situations we had last time, we humbly urge you to continue supporting this great club as you have always done in the past through purchase of match day tickets at Sh500 for VIP and Sh200 for the regular stand in order to supplement our tournament budget.

“Please let’s turn out in large numbers to support our boys,” concluded the statement.
