NAIROBI, Kenya — Azam TV has reaffirmed its commitment to Gor Mahia, promising extensive coverage of the club’s CAF Champions League campaign after successfully broadcasting all of the team’s FKF Premier League matches during the just-concluded season.

Speaking during Gor Mahia’s end-of-season dinner, Azam Media Group representative Juliet Maina highlighted the long-standing relationship between the broadcaster and the record Kenyan champions, describing the club as a key part of the company’s journey in Kenya.

“Our journey with Gor Mahia dates back, and one of the reasons Azam Media Group came into Kenya was because we were going to broadcast Gor Mahia matches,” Maina said.

The broadcaster’s commitment was evident throughout the 2025/26 FKF Premier League season, with Azam TV airing all 34 of Gor Mahia’s league fixtures.

“I’m happy to announce that this season we have broadcasted 34 out of the 34 matches,” she added.

Maina noted that Azam TV’s production teams followed the club across the country, ensuring supporters had access to live coverage regardless of venue.

“We have followed you from Nyayo Stadium to Dandora, down to Kisii, down to Awendo. We’ve been with you throughout this journey,” she said.

With Gor Mahia now preparing for another continental campaign following their league title triumph, Maina assured fans that the broadcaster will continue providing the club with the exposure needed to compete on the African stage.

“Heading to the CAF Champions League, we will be there. We will broadcast and make sure that you have the visibility that champions deserve,” she stated.

The Azam TV official further emphasized the importance of television coverage in helping local players attract attention from scouts and clubs beyond Kenya’s borders.

“We want to see even more people from Gor Mahia crossing over and getting more opportunities abroad. This is what we do. This is what we earn our living from,” she said.

The remarks come as Gor Mahia intensifies preparations for the CAF Champions League, where the club will be seeking to improve its recent performances and make a deeper run in Africa’s premier club competition.

Maina concluded by congratulating the club on winning the FKF Premier League title and wishing the team success in its continental ambitions.

“Congratulations to Gor Mahia. All the best in your Champions League campaign.”
