Gor Mahia Queens delivered a commanding performance to secure a 3-1 victory over AFC Leopardess in a FKF Women’s National Super League fixture played at the Kenya School of Law Grounds on Sunday morning.

The encounter, which kicked off at 11:00 AM, lived up to expectations as both sides showed early intent. However, it was Gor Mahia Queens who quickly stamped their authority on the game with fluid attacking play and solid organization across the pitch.

Gor Mahia Queens opened the scoring through Lucky Achando, whose composed finish gave the visitors an early advantage. The goal settled their rhythm, allowing them to dominate possession and dictate the tempo.

AFC Leopardess responded with urgency and managed to pull one back, briefly reigniting the contest. But Gor Mahia Queens remained unfazed, continuing to press forward with purpose.

Their persistence paid off when Rael Kamanda doubled the lead with a well-taken goal, restoring Gor Mahia’s cushion and silencing any hopes of a comeback from the hosts. The visitors’ midfield controlled proceedings effectively, cutting off supply lines and launching quick transitions.

As the match progressed, Gor Mahia Queens maintained their intensity and sealed the victory through Dorine Obiero, who added the third goal to cap off a clinical attacking display.

Defensively, Gor Mahia Queens stood firm in the closing stages, ensuring that AFC Leopardess had limited clear-cut chances to get back into the game.

The win underscores Gor Mahia Queens’ growing confidence and ambition in the FKF Women’s National Super League, as they continue to push for top honors this season.

With this impressive result, Gor Mahia Queens send a strong message to their rivals—this is a team determined to compete at the highest level and challenge for silverware.
