In a friendly match that was postponed yesterday due to heavy rains, Sportpesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia squeezed a win over Ethiopian giants St. Georges in post match penalties.
New striker Jacob Keli scored for Gor Mahia before Ugandan player Brian Umony pulled an equalizer for the Ethiopian side in extra time to send the match into spot kicks.
Sometimes, luck can count in a match and when St. Georges missed their fifth spot kick, Gor Mahia clung on that after converting all their five spot kicks to pull a famous win on a foreign land.
Gor Mahia penalties were taken by Enock Agwanda, Harun Shakava, Collins Okoth , Ali Abondo and Boniface Oluoch.
