39th minute chance came for equalizer, but George Odhiambo’s cross that found Ephrem Guikan inside the box to push a header was cleared off the line by a last-ditch effort from Nixon Omondi.
Gor Mahia pushed for an equalizer but Sharks defense were up to the task. The entry of Mustapha was evidenced, but his presence was short-lived when he got injured in the 82nd minute after a collision by Geoffrey Shiveka.
