Former Premier League Champion with Gor Mahia Raphael Asudi is dead. Asudi died while playing a Friendly match between Thika Vitambi and Donholm Seniors at the Thika Stadium today. Attempts by teammates and the technical team to administer medical assistance to save his life failed. Asudi was a product of the Gor Mahia youth team before he was promoted to the senior side. Things have gone from bad to worse for Gor Mahia as the club have been ordered by the Sports Disputes Tribunal to pay their former player Clifton Miheso Kes. 2,225,000 plus costs and interest for breach of his contract. The versatile player moved to court demanding that Sirkal paid him his outstanding dues in accrued salaries and unpaid signing-on fee, and the court has now ruled the case in his favor.
