The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has officially rescheduled Round 18 fixtures of the Womenās National Super League (WNSL) to accommodate the ongoing FIFA Series Tournament in Nairobi.
Initially slated for April 11ā12, 2026, the WNSL matches will now be played on the weekend of April 18ā19, 2026, following a directive from FKFās Leagues and Competitions Department.
For Gor Mahia Queens, the adjustment means their highly anticipated fixture against AFC Leopardess has been moved to Sunday, April 19, 2026. The match will kick off at 11:00 AM at the Kenya School of Law grounds in Karen.
The rescheduling comes at a crucial point in the season, with Gor Mahia Queens locked in a tight race on the league table. The KāOgalo ladies are level on 32 points with their closest rivals, but hold a slight advantage courtesy of a superior goal difference, adding extra significance to the upcoming clash.
Meanwhile, FKF has extended an invitation to all WNSL teams to attend the FIFA Series matches, taking place at Nyayo National Stadium from April 11 and April 15, 2026. The tournament has already elevated the profile of football in the country while offering local players and fans a chance to experience top-level international action.
