Gor Mahia Youth team came from behind to beat Equity 4-2 in a crunch match today at Jericho grounds.

Equity started off well and scored two quick goals within half an hour of play. It took the young lads 39 minutes to get the ball behind the net through Josephat Lopaga after good move which saw Arnold Kariuki deliver one fine pass. The game went to half break with Equity leading 2-1.

In second half, Gor side came back rejuvenated, knocking the ball well and enjoying the biggest chunk of ball possession.

In the 65th minute, Ismael Musa delivered a delicious cross in the area which Sam Oluoch comfortably headed home to equalize.

Constant pressure from the boys bore fruits in 75th minute when Meshack Akwetty netted the third goal to give Gor Mahia the lead.

With five minutes of regular time left on the clock, the young lads were not yet done with their opponents, Geoffrey Omondi pulled a fierce long range shot that Equity keeper punched back into play to gift Don Ogango with a rebounds to slot in the fourth goal.

Gor Youth are third on the log in FKF Division2 Zone B league with 24 points with four games in hand.
