Gor Mahia is facing a setback ahead of their crucial match against AFC Leopards due to injuries to two key players.
Winger Bryson Wangai and midfield enforcer Lawrence Juma will miss the game as they recover from injuries.
Wangai is in the final stages of rehabilitation from an ankle injury sustained during the match against Tusker on November 22 and is nearing full fitness.

Lawrence Juma is also undergoing treatment for a groin injury. Neither player will be available for selection on Sunday, according to the club’s official social media updates.
Wangai’s injury occurred in Gor Mahia’s 1-0 victory over Tusker, and although he is close to returning, the upcoming match against Leopards is likely too soon.
Despite this, K’Ogalo head coach Charles Akonnor is probably relieved that only these two players are unavailable, especially after a concerning incident earlier this week when Austin Odhiambo, Felix Oluoch, Fidel Origa, Joshua Onyango, and Enock Morrison were involved in road accidents but escaed unharmed.

Gor Mahia currently tops the FKF Premier League table with 19 points from nine games, level on points with Kakamega Homeboyz.
AC Leopards, on the other hand, are in eighth place with five points fewer. This match promises to be a pivotal encounter in the league race.
