Kenyan regional airline Renegade Air has proudly celebrated its partnership with newly crowned FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC after flying the team to Homa Bay ahead of their scheduled league fixture against Mara Sugar.
The airline shared a video across its social media platforms showing the champions boarding the flight, arrival moments, and how the team was handled during the trip before the highly anticipated clash that had been scheduled for Sunday, May 24.
In the post, Renegade Air wrote:
“From takeoff to victory ✈️🏆
Proud to have flown Gor Mahia to Homabay for Sunday’s fixture. Congratulations on the win and the league triumph 💚

The fixture against Mara Sugar, which had attracted nationwide attention due to its title implications, was however postponed following intervention by the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) over a dispute surrounding the venue hosting rights.
Initially, the match had been moved to Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay after FKF raised concerns over the suitability and security arrangements at the originally proposed venue. Mara Sugar later challenged the decision in court, leading to the suspension of the match pending further hearing and determination of the case.
Despite the postponement, Gor Mahia still went on to secure the 2025/26 FKF Premier League title after rivals AFC Leopards lost 2-1 to APS Bomet on Sunday, mathematically handing K’Ogalo a record-extending 22nd league crown.
The airline’s gesture and public support added to the growing list of corporate brands and stakeholders celebrating Gor Mahia’s latest league success, as the club prepares for CAF Champions League football next season.
