Gor Mahia fitness trainer Hamisi Musa Juma has left the club citing personal reasons and the ongoing challenges that the club is enduring.

Hamisi joined Gor Mahia in early January 2021 from Kariobangi Sharks and has been instrumental to the club’s physical training department.

Hamisi revealed that he tendered his resignation to focus on pressing family issues and also cited the club’s myriad of issues it’s currently enduring.

“After much consideration and thought I decided to resign from the club to focus on urgent family matters that need to be solved and will require some time out.

I also feel that the team is currently going through a number of challenges which have affected my job and that is also another reason which led to me throwing in the towel,” Hamisi said.

Hamisi was part of the team that lifted its first Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Cup after nine years back in 2021 and the Madaraka Cup clinched this year and has also done service in the CAF Confederation Cup with Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks back in 2018.

The Physical trainer who doubles up as the club’s psychotherapistHamisi was thankful to the club for providing priceless memories and went ahead to wish the club all the best in the future.

“I enjoyed my time at Gor Mahia and made meaningful relationships and also had memorable times that will always be a part of me forever. I would like to wish the club all the best in its endeavors,” added Hamisi.
