Ulinzi Stars have refuted reports that they signed Nicholas Kipkirui from Gor Mahia.
The forward has not been on Gor Mahia’s matchday squad since the team’s CAF Confederations Cup Play-Offs 1st leg clash against Napsa Stars on 14th February.
Mozzart Sport reports that a source close to Ulinzi Stars denied the rumours that the club had signed ex- Zoo Kericho forward.
“I have seen the reports but I have not heard anything about that transfer rumour, the only person we are trying to register is (Kevin) Thairu who is coming back from his military duty.” Mozzart Sports quotes the source.
There are reports that Tusker FC, Nairobi City Stars, KCB and unnamed foreign clubs want sign Kipkirui.
