Kenya’s 19 times champion Gor Mahia began its CAF Confederation campaign in style, humiliating newbies Al Ahly Merowe od South Sudan 3-1 in an entertaining match played at Suez Stadium in Suez – Egypt.

K’Ogalo went down 1-0 in the 41st minute of the game, going to the break with a goal down. But the mighty came back to reclaim its stand on the campaign grilling the opponent with massive attacks and counters.
Samuel Onyango opened the scoreline in the 58th minute through penalty after Al Ahly Marowe defender handed the ball in the box. Seven (7) minutes later and K’Ogalo was on another break scoring the second goal through the young striker Benson Omala.

Burundi’s danger man Jules Ulimwengu was not left behind as he wrapped up the night theater with the third goal.
