Defending Champions have been warned once again by the “moneybag” Wazito FC. The Swedish-owned club have informed K’Ogalo to prepare for a tough battle on Wednesday in FKF Premier League match at Thika Municipal Stadium.

The 10th places Wazito are confident they will turn the table this time around after unsuccessful attempts in all their seven (7) encounters since the yellow-kitted side joined the top-tier league.

Their first-leg encounter say the green Army wing by one goal to nil in a match played at Utalii Grounds in Nairobi on May 31st, 2021 (also read the match stats)

With little response on the same, K’Ogalo who had only two days to prepare for the match are focused to bag maximum points but are cautious of the opponent.

Through captain Haron Shakava, defending champions are is aware of the danger and will be going to the game fully prepared to bag maximum points needed and continue chasing the league title.

“There is a danger we might pat ourselves on the back for winning eight league matches on the bounce and perhaps relax a bit against Wazito but that is not the way it is going to be.

“It’s true we have enjoyed a great form recently that has seen us get to the Cup final and move places above the table. It’s very encouraging to the team and the fans but Wazito despite their recent struggles they can be very dangerous to play against. We won’t underestimate them and our aim is to get maximum points to close the gap at the top,” Shakava told Citizen TV reporters.

K’Ogalo has conceded only two (20 goals in their last seven FKFPL games grabbing a maximum of 21 points. The rejuvenated team is 5 points shy of current league leaders KCB, a win that will see the defending champions move close to top league contenders.
