Rising Star Nicholas Omondi is one of the most promising players in Gor Mahia. The 18 years old started playing at Kibera before joining Kariobangi Sharks.
Nicholas signed a two-year deal and is expected to slot in for midfielder Tobias Otieno who left for US Second-tier side Union Omaha in late September this year.
He welcomes the intense competition for places in the midfield. He is learning from his team-mates and the competition for midfield places will force him to work hard.
He aims to play in the senior national team having already been selected to the U20 team.
He has been the assistant captain of the Kenya U17 team that has participated in recent tournaments outside the country and was handed a trial period with Laliga side Malaga youth team last year.
