Kansai Plascon Kenya has significantly strengthened its partnership with Gor Mahia FC by signing a new three-year sponsorship agreement worth KSh 30 million following the club’s successful league-winning campaign.
The deal, signed on Friday morning at the Mövenpick Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi, represents a major increase in the company’s commitment to the record Kenyan champions. Kansai Plascon had initially entered into a sponsorship partnership with Gor Mahia through a KSh 5 million agreement, but the company has now substantially expanded its support as K’Ogalo prepares for the CAF Champions League.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Gor Mahia patron Eliud Owalo, with Kansai Plascon Kenya Managing Director Kota Enami leading the company’s delegation while club chairman Ambrose Rachier headed the Gor Mahia team.
The enhanced sponsorship package comes after a remarkable season in which Gor Mahia reclaimed the SportPesa Premier League title, extending their record as Kenya’s most successful football club. The increased investment is viewed as a reward for the club’s achievements on the pitch and a demonstration of confidence in its future ambitions.
Speaking after the signing, Owalo thanked Kansai Plascon Kenya for deepening its partnership with the club.
“On behalf of the entire Gor Mahia fraternity, I thank Plascon for the sponsorship and appeal to more corporate sponsors to come on board as we prepare for the CAF Champions League,” said Owalo.
The KSh 30 million sponsorship is expected to provide a significant boost to the club’s preparations for continental football while supporting its operations over the next three years.
The renewed and expanded partnership highlights the growing relationship between Gor Mahia and Kansai Plascon Kenya, with the company choosing to increase its investment after witnessing the club’s progress and success during the recently concluded campaign.
With preparations for the CAF Champions League already underway, the sponsorship provides K’Ogalo with additional resources as they seek to compete strongly on the continental stage while maintaining their dominance in Kenyan football.SEO Meta Description:
