Record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia FC collected KSh 5,451,000 in ticket revenue during Sunday’s grand 2025/26 SportPesa Premier League title coronation at Nyayo National Stadium.
According to the club’s Treasurer, Gerphas Okuku, a total of 17,487 tickets were issued and sold for the season finale against Nairobi United FC, as thousands of K’Ogalo supporters turned up to witness the club lift a record-extending 22nd league title.
The impressive turnout transformed Nyayo Stadium into a sea of green as fans celebrated another historic chapter in the club’s illustrious history. Despite a narrow defeat on the pitch, the atmosphere remained festive as supporters joined players, club legends, and officials in marking the championship triumph.
Okuku expressed appreciation to the club’s supporters for their unwavering loyalty and exemplary conduct throughout the event.
“Thanks to all our fans for the incredible turnout and discipline, which made our celebration even more special. Your support and loyalty are truly overwhelming,” said Okuku.
The club also acknowledged the contribution of its ticketing partner, [LangoPass](https://langopass.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com), whose digital ticketing platform has played a significant role in improving revenue collection and transparency.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to our ticketing partners, LangoPass, for their excellent work throughout the season. Their commitment and transparency have been key to our progress in ticketing and revenue collection,” added Okuku.
The strong gate collections underline Gor Mahia’s unmatched fan base in Kenyan football and provide a significant financial boost as the club prepares for the upcoming season and continental assignments.
The coronation ceremony capped off a memorable campaign in which K’Ogalo once again asserted their dominance in Kenyan football, securing the 2025/26 SportPesa Premier League title and reinforcing their status as the country’s most successful club.
