Gor Mahia Vice Chair, Sally Bolo, has applauded Murang’a Seal FC for their decision to move Sunday’s highly anticipated FKF Premier League clash from St. Sebastian Stadium to Nyayo National Stadium.
Speaking through her social media platforms, Bolo described the move as “mature and progressive,” noting that fixtures involving Gor Mahia FC and AFC Leopards always attract huge crowds, intense emotions, and massive nationwide attention.
“Such matches deserve venues that can comfortably guarantee safety, security, proper organization, and a great experience for fans, players, officials, and all stakeholders,” she stated.

The decision to host the match at Nyayo National Stadium is expected to allow more supporters to attend while also easing logistical and security concerns that often arise during high-profile league encounters involving K’Ogalo.
Bolo further emphasized that prioritizing professionalism over home-ground advantage is the type of leadership needed to elevate the standards of Kenyan football.
“This is the kind of leadership and planning our football needs. When clubs prioritize professionalism over advantage, the SportsPesa League brand grows stronger, standards improve, and Kenyan football wins collectively,” she added.
The Sunday showdown is expected to attract a massive turnout as title-chasing Gor Mahia FC continue their push in the FKF Premier League title race.
