[dropcap]G[/dropcap]or Mahia through the club’s CEO Lordvick Aduda wrote to Football Kenya Federation to release their players as they have a busy schedule as a club.

The club appreciated the request by national team coach to have their players’ services but they considered to have them back as they prepare for assignments ahead.

“We write to appreciate the fact that national team coach found it appropriate to enlist the services of several of our team players in the current national team squad. We did release players as requested…” stated the letter.

“We wish to recall all the players to join the rest of the team immediately… to prepare for the forthcoming pending crucial league match scheduled for 30th May 2018 against SoNy in Kisumu.

“We wish to further state that in view of our pending Confederation Cup matches, the technical bench have advised that all players should be available for training and preparations as a unit,” read the piece done by Gor Mahia CEO.

All of the seven senior players ( Haron Shakava, Joash Onyango, Humprey Mieno, Francis Kahata, Phillemon Otieno, George Odhiambo and Boniface Oluoch ) who were called to Harambee Stars are back to the team and are set to paticipate in tommorow’s league match against SoNy in Kisumu.

After playing SoNy, K’Ogalo will head straight to Egerton to prepare for the SportPesa Super Cup which kicks off on the 3rd of June in Nakuru.

Harambee Stars were scheduled to jet out of the country on Wedneday morning to India for 13 days to participate in a four nations tournament but the traveling plans have now been pushed to Thursday.
