In a heartfelt gesture aimed at uplifting local sports, the Deputy Patron of Gor Mahia and the Deputy Chief of Staff responsible for Delivery and Government Efficiency within the Executive Office of the President of Kenya made a significant contribution to the Gor Mahia community.

This morning, in a vibrant ceremony held in Jericho grounds in Nairobi, he proudly presented training uniforms to both the youth and women’s teams of Gor Mahia.

Accompanying him were key figures from the Gor Mahia football club, including Chairman Ambrose Rachier, Vice Chairman Sally Bolo, Secretary Nick Arum, Treasurer Gerphas Okuku, and Amb. George Ochieng Awuor, the CEO of the Eliud Owalo Foundation. Together, they reinforced their collective commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting inclusivity in Kenyan football.

At the event, Owalo presented 35 high-quality tracksuits to the Gor Mahia youth team, designed to inspire confidence and unity among the players. He also donated 30 tracksuits to the Gor Mahia Queens team, emphasizing the importance of supporting female athletes and recognizing their critical role in the sport.

In his remarks, Owalo expressed his passion for fostering a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among the youth.

He underscored the importance of providing these athletes not only with the gear they need to perform at their best but also with the encouragement to pursue their dreams with determination.

The vibrant tracksuits stand as symbols of hope and aspiration, motivating the young players to strive for excellence in their sporting endeavors.

This generous contribution is poised to elevate team morale and enhance performance as they prepare for upcoming competitions, reinforcing the power of community support in shaping the future of Kenyan football.
