Gor Mahia and shirt sponsor Betafriq part ways on mutual agreement, just after two months into the Sh228 million three-year deal.
The lucrative agreement that was reached on July 12 was to see K’Ogalo receive Sh76.5 million per year, which includes Sh5 million for kitting and also Sh1.5 million for players’ insurance.
Club chairman and long-serving football administrator Ambrose Rachier has said the team is negotiating with another partner with unveiling set for the due course.
“There have been negotiations going and if all goes well then, we
shall launch the deal on Friday. However, that is subject to confirmation,” he said.
Before the Betafriq deal, Gor and betting another firm, Betsafe, had also terminated their sponsorship which had run for only two seasons.
