Gor Mahia vs Vihiga Bullets has been called off due to insecurity following the chaos that erupted at the half break.
K’Ogalo was leading 1-0 at halftime, goal courtesy of George “Blackberry” Odhiambo.
One of K’Ogalo’s fans had jumped over the gates without paying a gate fee causing the stewards to react hitting him with a wooden object inflicting deep cuts to the face.
Angered by the incident, some K’Ogalo fans joined the fracas and attacked the head of Gor Mahia head of security – Lawrence Odhiambo who was responsible for causing the commotion.
The fracas extended into the field as the game just got into the halftime break where George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo had just given his side the lead with a header in the half’s last piece of the action.
Vihiga Bullets failed to turn up for the game citing their safety as the course forcing the fourth official to call off the game.
