Gor Mahia patron Eliud Owalo joined thousands of passionate fans at Nyayo National Stadium to witness a thrilling Kenya Premier League (KPL) encounter between Gor Mahia FC and KCB FC. The stadium was alive with energy, chants, and the unmistakable roar of the Green Army as the reigning champions looked to consolidate their position at the top of the league table.

From the first whistle, Gor Mahia displayed their attacking intent. The breakthrough came in the 24th minute, when Enock Morrison fired a precise finish past the KCB goalkeeper, sending the fans into jubilation. Just four minutes later, Shariff Musa doubled the advantage with a clever strike, leaving KCB chasing shadows. Samuel Kapen then capped a dominant first half by slotting home a third goal in the 43rd minute, giving K’Ogalo a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.

Speaking after the match, Eliud Owalo expressed his delight at the team’s performance:

“It was incredible to witness such a dominant display. The team showed determination, skill, and teamwork. Well done, K’Ogalo!”

Fans’ Reactions and Stadium Atmosphere

The atmosphere at Nyayo was electric, with chants, drums, and colorful banners creating an unforgettable spectacle. Fans erupted with every touch of the ball, celebrating each goal as if it were a championship final. Many supporters waved scarves and painted their faces in green, while families and young fans joined in the singing and clapping, showing the depth of passion for Gor Mahia.

Social media quickly lit up with posts from ecstatic fans, praising the team’s attacking prowess and the unity displayed both on and off the pitch. The stadium became a sea of green and white, a true celebration of K’Ogalo spirit.

The victory not only reinforced Gor Mahia’s top spot in the KPL standings but also sent a strong message to their title rivals, including AFC Leopards, that the Green Army remain a force to be reckoned with this season.

Fans left Nyayo buzzing with excitement, proud of a team that continues to embody the spirit, resilience, and legacy of Gor Mahia FC.
