Gor Mahia have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Ugandan attacker Rogers Mugisha from UPL side Uganda People’s Defence Forces FC. The skillful attacker was part of the Uganda U-20 team that finished at the 2023 U20 AFCON in Egypt. He replaces compatriot Peter Lwasa, who left Gor following the expiry of his contract. Former Premier League Champion with Gor Mahia Raphael Asudi is dead. Asudi died while playing a Friendly match between Thika Vitambi and Donholm Seniors at the Thika Stadium today. Attempts by teammates and the technical team to administer medical assistance to save his life failed. Asudi was a product of the Gor Mahia youth team before he was promoted to the senior side.
