Gor Mahia have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Ugandan attacker Rogers Mugisha from UPL side Uganda People’s Defence Forces FC. The skillful attacker was part of the Uganda U-20 team that finished at the 2023 U20 AFCON in Egypt. He replaces compatriot Peter Lwasa, who left Gor following the expiry of his contract. Mugisha made the tournament’s group stage team of the tournament, being named man-of-the-match in their 2-1 win over the Central African Republic in February.
