Armenian club FC West Armenia has invited Gor Mahia captain Philemon Otieno for trials  which will be held at their homeground later this week. The trial is scheduled to take place from Saturday, 16th December and will take place over a two week period, with the club’s management set to cater for his accommodation, food as well as traveling tickets both to and from Armenia. Gor Mahia head coach Johnathan McKinstry has revealed how clubs could benefit from Kenya hosting the African Nations Championship (CHAN) ahead of the 2024 edition, as well as the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments.
