Gor Mahia FC have received a another financial boost after securing a KSh 7.5 million annual sponsorship deal with electric mobility company Spiro, a partnership officially witnessed by the club’s Patron, Eliud Owalo.
The agreement, signed on Monday, marks the beginning of a strategic partnership that names Spiro as Gor Mahia’s Official Electric Mobility Partner, providing crucial financial support as the record Kenyan champions prepare for a demanding 2026/27 campaign.
The sponsorship comes at a critical moment, with Gor Mahia set to compete in the CECAFA Championship, the FKF Premier League, and the CAF Interclub competitions, where the club hopes to restore its continental dominance.
Speaking after witnessing the signing, Owalo hailed the partnership as a strong vote of confidence in Kenyan football and emphasized the importance of private sector investment in growing the sport.
“This partnership is a vote of confidence in Kenyan football and demonstrates the critical role the private sector can play in supporting sports development,” said Owalo.
Representing Spiro at the ceremony were Country Head Vishal Mittal, together with Raymond Kitunga and Flora Limukii.
Gor Mahia officials present included Secretary General Nick Arum, Treasurer Gerphas Okuku, Administration Manager Ronald Ngala, Chairman of the Gor Mahia Fan Branches (COC) Paul Ochar, and COC Secretary George Awino.
The latest sponsorship further strengthens Gor Mahia’s commercial portfolio as the club intensifies preparations for a season expected to test its ambitions both domestically and on the continental stage.
