Gor Mahia’s Green Army have organised a significant gathering on Sunday, the 29th, at the Tom Mboya statue along Moi Avenue. They will then head to Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata for the exciting Mozzart Bet Cup finals.

K’Ogalo will clash with National Super League champions Nairobi United FC in what promises to be an intense showdown, arguably fiercer than any Cup match seen before.

In their social media group, fans of K’Ogalo are calling on everyone to meet at Duol Kamboya (the Tom Mboya statue) on Sunday, before making their way to Ulinzi Sports Complex.

“Let’s gather at Duol Kamboya this Sunday before marching to Ulinzi Complex, Sirkals. Let’s paint the city green and white! Come one, come all—let’s stand united in our belief in this team,” reads a post on the Facebook fan page.

The Tom Mboya statue holds special significance for the club, as it commemorates its founding on February 17, 1968, when Luo Union FC and Luo Stars football clubs merged. Mboya, a former government minister, was the club’s first patron and played a vital role in its establishment.

This location has become a traditional meeting point for K’Ogalo fans when supporting their team across the country. It serves as a crucial hub for the community, honouring the legacy of their former patron and embodying the spirit of K’Ogalo.
