Cliff Nyakeya has moved back to Gor Mahia on a 1yr contract from Egyptian premier league side FC Masr where he terminated his contract on mutual consent.
The prodigal son is back from where he started as a Gor Mahia youth player. After Gor youth, Nyakeya moved to Mathare United later on in 2019 moved to Egypt. In 2020/2021, Nyakeya’s return to K’Ogalo failed, making his move to Wazito FC and then to AFC Leopards.
Nyakeya has been a standout performer for Patrick Aussems’ team, contributing significantly to their commendable seventh-place finish in the recently concluded 2022/2023 FKF Premier League season.
