Born on August 22, 1974; Graduated in Physical Education in 2000 at Instituto Piaget Viseu. Gained the UEFA PRO – Portuguese Football Federation license in 2013.

As a football Coach, he began his career in 2003 at SC Penalva do Castelo and has already worked in Portugal, Angola, and Ethiopia.

His sporting and professional activity was further enriched as:

  • Co-ordinator of the Recruiting Department of the Academic Association of Coimbra, Sports Director of the Famalicão Football Club.
  • Observer for Sporting Clube de Portugal;
  • Coordinator of the Recruitment Department of the Academic Association of Coimbra;
  • Sports Director of Famalicão Football Club.

He started his sports training in 1986 as a player in the Sport Club of Penalva do Castelo and retired in 2007, at the age of 32, at the club where he took his first steps.

As a teacher, he was a guest lecturer and held the position of Director of the ISUPE Physical Education and Sports Course, Huambo, Angola, and Teacher for the Portuguese Ministry of Education.
