Gor Mahia opponents in the first round of CAF Confederation Cup, Zamalek of Egypt will land on Friday. The Egyptians will be touching down at 3.30am of Friday for the crunch tie on Sunday against the Kenyan side at Kasarani stadium. Zamelek will have the first training session on that very Friday at Utalii grounds at 4pm then have a feel of Kasarani surface on Saturday at 4pm. After playing on Sunday, Zamalek will again train at Utalii grounds on Monday at 2pm before hitting the run-way back to Cairo on Tuesday February 5 at 4am.

Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan has parted ways with Gor Mahia on a mutual agreement with the club. The developments were confirmed to Gor Mahia website by club official Sally Bolo. “Guikan requested to leave and as a club, we have to respect that. We had a mutual agreement and we have given him the release letter as per regulations,” Bolo said.
