Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has scoffed at reports that club treasurer Dolphine Odhiambo was detained in Algeria over unpaid hotel bills. Rachier claims the flight departed Algiers when Dolphine was ”still settling hotel bills” and it became difficult for her to catch another flight immediately following restrictions on the Algerian airspace as the government tries to contain the second Covid-19 wave. ‘’Dolphine was left behind settling bills and the next available flight to Nairobi was in two days’ time. Gor Mahia has left Algeria and is expected to land home tomorrow 29th December 2020 at 6.30 am.
