Gor Mahia clinched the 2018 league title today after beating rivals AFC Leopards 2-0 at Kasarani. Goals from Boniface Omondi and Bernard Ondiek were enough to close the 2018 chapter for Gor Mahia and bag a 17th league title – the highest in local football history. Gor Mahia hit 71 points and with six matches to go, no team can manage past 69 points thus automatically making Gor Mahia the champions.
