Gor Mahia Youth played to a one all draw away to CMS in FKF division 2 Eastern Zone (Zone C) at the Jacaranda Grounds, Ruiru today. The Gor Mahia side struggled in the opening half with home team taking advantage to press in search of a goal with goalkeeper Caleb Oluoch making numerous saves. Gor Mahia are on the brink of making CAF Confederations Cup history as they face Angola’s Petro Athletico tomorrow (Sunday) at the Kasarani as from 7pm. A win will see Gor Mahia become the first team from Kenya to go past the group stage of the competition. Last season, Gor Mahia added another element to its rich history by being the first team from the country to reach the group stage of any CAF club competition since it was reformatted to include group stages.
