Gor Mahia continues their league programme today with a match against Western Stima at 4pm at Kasarani, Nairobi. Hassan Oktay’s charges will be seeking their fifth win on the trot and victory will take them to the top of the table on goal difference while tied on points with Bandari. Gor will be facing the Power-men from Kisumu for the first time since 2017 when they suffered relegation. Gor Mahia moved to third place on the log after beating Sofapaka 1-0 in a tough encounter at Afraha stadium in Nakuru. The lone strike by Samuel Onyango in the opening half was enough to give the defending champions maximum points. Sofapaka had their chances and the same applies to Gor Mahia in an entertaining end to end match.
