Gor Mahia left-back Shafiq Batambuze has been released by Gor Mahia ahead of the 2020-21 season. The left-back penned a two-year contract with the reigning champions Gor Mahia FC in October 2018 picked a knee injury during a CAF Champions League against Aigle Noir of Burundi in November 2019, putting him out of action for a good period.
