Gor Mahia and Bidco United once again played out to a one-all draw in an FKF Premier League match played at Thika Municipal Stadium on Sunday 23th January 2022. The two had previously drawn 1-1 in a previous encounter in Moi Internation Sports Center – Kasarani on 19th January 2022 Bidco were awarded a spot-kick in the 40th minute and Stephen Waruru did not disappoint, slotting home, but their celebration were cut short after K’Ogalo was awarded a penalty and Samuel Onyango took it to eleven in the 44th minute. Gor Mahia midfielder Frank Odhiambo has joined Djurgårdens IF of Johanneshov district of Stockholm in Sweden. The 19-year-old midfielder signed a five-year deal with the Swedish side. Odhiambo has been impressive for K’Ogalo since being handed his debut midway through last season and had been attracting massive interest before the Swedish side tied him to a long-term contract. Gor Mahia were held 1-1 by visiting Bidco United in a midweek FKF Premier League match played at Moi Sports Center – Kasarani. Bidco were headed for their first win over the league giants, but a late penalty by Samuel Onyango in the 86th minute saw the two teams wrap up the match 1-1. Bidco goal came in the 27th-minute when Jacob Onyango picked a loose ball in the K’Ogalo box after the defensive lapse.

Gor Mahia on Sunday defeated newbies FC Talanta 2-0 in a FKF Premier League match played at Kasarani Stadium. Austin Odhiambo scored a second-half brace to inspire the former champions to their seventh win of the 2021-2022 campaign. The win moved K’Ogalo to third in the standings above KCB on 25 points, six points behind league leaders Kakamega Homeboyz but with a game in hand. Homeboyz defeated KCB 3-2.
