Kenya’s all time Champions Gor Mahia is gearing up for an exciting match against Murang’a Seal this Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Dandora Stadium! This is a crucial game as it leads to a spot for glory on the continental stage.

After a challenging time in the FKF Premier League against Murang’a Seal during their last FKFPL encounter in St. Sebastian Grounds in Murang’a, K’Ogalo is eager to bounce back and claim victory in this important match. The winner in the final will get the chance to represent Kenya in the esteemed CAF Confederation Cup next season, which adds to the stakes!

Gor Mahia will not have its former head coach, Sinisa Mihic, who recently left the club. However, assistant coach Zedekiah “Zico” Otieno is stepping up and ready to lead the team!

As the defending champions of the FKFPL, Gor Mahia’s hopes of retaining the title are hanging by a thread. They currently trail the league leaders, Kenya Police FC, by 7 points with just 3 games left, so they’re really putting in the effort to secure their African competition ticket by winning the Mozzart Cup.

With the change in management, K’Ogalo will be making some strategic lineup decisions to tackle the challenges posed by Murang’a Seal. The previous setup featuring a back three didn’t yield the desired results, so the team is likely to switch to a familiar 4-3-3 formation that’s proven more effective in attack.

There’s a buzz of excitement in the air! A win for K’Ogalo would bring much-needed joy to their dedicated supporters, especially after those recent ups and downs. They hope for a fantastic match and a positive outcome!
