Gor Mahia fans are voicing their mounting frustration over the team’s disheartening performance this season, channeling their anger directly towards the technical bench. The disillusionment among supporters is palpable, as many express their dissatisfaction with the current coaching staff’s management, with some even calling for a complete overhaul of the team’s technical bench.
This wave of discontent follows a series of lackluster displays on the pitch, which have extinguished hopes of securing the coveted title. Sitting third in the Premier League standings, Gor Mahia finds itself a daunting seven points behind the current leaders, with only three matches left to play. Those crucial fixtures against fierce rivals AFC Leopards, Ulinzi Stars, and Kenya Police FC promise to be arduous tests, with a maximum of nine points up for grabs.
One frustrated fan articulated the agony of supporting a team that appears lackadaisical on the field.
“The players must remember that no one pays fans to come and watch. Each supporter invests their hard-earned money, and the revenue generated from us is vital for the club. We need to send a message to the players, the technical bench, and the management: we demand victories in the remaining games and a relentless fight to retain the league title”, frustrated Dan lamented
“During the campaign for club officials, it was promised that, if elected or re-elected, they would ensure our championship success. We expect these promises to be honored,” the disheartened fan added.

A particularly unnerving incident unfolded on April 4th, when head coach Sinisa Mihic found himself in a heated confrontation with his two assistant coaches, Zedekiah Otieno and Michael Nam, alongside Team Manager Victor Nyaoro. Their dispute revolved around the concerning lack of playtime for foreign players. Thankfully, the situation was diffused after intervention from the higher-ups in the club’s management.
Yet, the rifts don’t end there; signs of tension between certain players and the head coach have emerged, contributing to an atmosphere of unease that has surely cast a shadow over the team’s performance. This internal strife may have led to what is now perceived as one of the worst seasons Gor Mahia has faced in recent memory.
