Gor Mahia defender Francis Odhiambo has emphasized a calm and focused approach as K’Ogalo prepare to face Tusker FC on Tuesday, 14 April 2026 in a crucial KPL match at Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyaga.
Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Odhiambo downplayed any pressure surrounding the fixture, insisting the team is committed to maintaining composure as the season intensifies.

“For us as a team, we’re just taking it one game at a time because we don’t want to pile pressure on ourselves,” he said.
The defender acknowledged the difficulty of the upcoming match but stressed that Gor Mahia’s focus remains on approaching each game with the same level of discipline and determination.
“We just look at games as they come because I know it’s tough. In terms of pressure, I think we are relaxed and looking forward to taking each and every game.”
With the title race heating up, Odhiambo believes staying mentally composed will be key to avoiding costly mistakes.
“If you put pressure on yourself, you’re going to fumble. So for us, it’s quite easy, just one game at a time.”
Gor Mahia will be looking to build momentum against a rejuvenated Tusker side in what promises to be a tightly contested Kenyan Premier League clash.
