Gor Mahia FC delivered a commanding and professional performance to secure a 3–0 victory over KCB FC in an FKF Premier League fixture played at Nyayo Stadium.
Despite a heavy downpour that delayed kick-off by 20 minutes, K’Ogalo settled quickly and asserted control, producing a dominant first-half display that laid the foundation for a comprehensive win.
First-Half Dominance
The deadlock was broken in the 24th minute when Enock Morrison struck from long range. His powerful effort took a slight deflection off a KCB defender before finding the back of the net to give Gor Mahia a deserved lead.

Just four minutes later, Gor Mahia doubled the advantage following a well-worked attacking move. Samuel Kapen delivered a low, accurate cross from the right flank, which Shariff Musa finished calmly to make it 2–0.
K’Ogalo continued to press and were rewarded again in the 43rd minute when Kapen capped an impressive first-half performance with a composed finish, extending the lead to 3–0 at the interval.
Controlled Second Half
With a comfortable cushion, Gor Mahia adopted a composed and structured approach after the restart, focusing on ball retention, tactical discipline, and defensive organization.

KCB sought to find a way back into the match, introducing former Gor Mahia midfielder Francis Kahata alongside Hemphrey Mieno, who was later replaced by December Kisakah. However, Gor Mahia’s defensive unit remained compact and resolute, limiting the visitors to minimal clear-cut opportunities.
In midfield, Morrison continued to dictate play with authority, while Kapen and Musa maintained their threat on the flanks.
Substitutions and Game Management
The technical bench introduced fresh legs to maintain intensity and control. Ben Stanley replaced Jackson Dwang, while striker Ebenezer Adu-Kwa came on for Ebenezer Assifuah in the 74th minute.

Gor Mahia managed the closing stages intelligently, slowing the tempo and seeing out the match comfortably to preserve a clean sheet.
Result and Outlook
The final whistle confirmed a polished and professional performance from Gor Mahia FC, combining attacking efficiency with mature game management.
The victory strengthens K’Ogalo’s position in the FKF Premier League title race and underlines the team’s growing momentum as the season progresses.
