Gor Mahia Defender Lewis Bandi is finally ready, and Gor Mahia fans might just see their new man in action for the first time when K’Ogalo face Sofapaka FC.

Head coach Charles Akonnor has confirmed that Bandi is in contention, and after months of waiting, the green-and-white faithful will be hoping this is the moment. Signed from AFC Leopards back in August 2025, expectations were high, but cruel luck struck early.

An injury picked up while on national duty at the CHAN 2024 tournament ruled him out before he could even kick a ball for K’Ogalo. Months later, the wait is over. Fit, focused, and hungry, Bandi could finally pull on the green jersey and bring fresh energy, balance, and bite to the team.

And it’s not just Bandi 👊
Bryson Jerome Wangai is back after his injury layoff, while Assistant Captain Geoffrey “Simiti” Ochieng’ and Lawrence Jima have also returned to boost Akonnor’s options.
With the title race heating up, Gor Mahia know there’s no room for slip-ups. Sofapaka stand in the way, but Nyayo, the crowd, and the moment are all set.
This Saturday, it’s about noise, passion, and three points.
K’Ogalo mbele mbele! 💚🔥
