Gor Mahia Head coach Charles Akonnor and vice-captain Michael Kibwage have sent a strong warning to Bidco FC ahead of tomorrow’s league clash at Kasarani Stadium, declaring that K’Ogalo are ready, confident, and hungry for victory.

“This is a new day, a new moment, and a new approach. We believe we will do our best to get the victory.”

Akonnor pointed to the clear identity now visible in Gor Mahia’s play: quick passing, high intensity, aggressive pressing, and total control.

“We move the ball very quickly, we counter-press, we stay compact and control the game. That is what we are going to do tomorrow.”

The coach also reminded fans that despite losing the first leg, Gor Mahia were the better side and this time, they intend to finish the job.

“We dominated the first match but conceded. This time, we will be better. We believe the victory is ours.”

Assistant-Captain Michael Kibwage

Vice-captain Michael Kibwage echoed the fighting spirit, revealing a united and focused camp.

“The mood is very good in the camp. We are almost a full house, just a few knocks here and there.”

Kibwage says the team has not forgotten what happened in the first leg and is eager to set things right.

“We know the momentum we have and the history of this fixture. The confidence is now in the team, and we want to turn the table and win.”

With the second leg of the season kicking off, Kibwage stressed that every match is now a final.

“We must win our games to keep pressure at the top. We cannot control our rivals’ results, only ours. There is no room for laxity or dropping points.”

As the title race heats up, K’Ogalo march into Kasarani knowing exactly what is at stake, three points, pride, and momentum.

Saturday, 24th January 2026, it’s about belief. It’s about fighting. It’s about Gor Mahia.
