Angry, thirsty and out for blood, Gor Mahia went on a full-blown rampage, tearing Kariobangi Sharks apart 4-1 under the lights at Kasarani in a midweek thriller that reminded everyone why K’Ogalo are kings of Kenyan football.
Ben Stanley Omondi lit the fuse in the 19th minute, slicing through the Sharks’ defence to send the Green Army into wild celebrations. Just when the Slum Boys thought they had survived the half, Ebenezer Adukwah struck in stoppage time, delivering a brutal punch that left Sharks reeling at the break.

Sharks tried to grow teeth after halftime, pulling one back in the 56th minute. But poking the giant only woke the monster.
K’Ogalo shifted gears, tightened the screws, and went for the kill. Samuel Kapen smashed in the third in the 82nd minute, and before Sharks could catch their breath, Felix Oluoch buried the fourth in the 86th, game over, statement made.
When the dust settled, Gor Mahia stood tall at the summit of the KPL with 26 points, two clear of Kakamega Homeboyz and with two games in hand. The message is loud and clear:
The champions are angry.
The champions are hungry.
And the league has been warned. 💚💪
