Gor Mahia Set to Compete in ODM Anniversary Tournament in Mombasa

Gor Mahia football team is gearing up for an exciting journey to Mombasa as they prepare to participate in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Anniversary Tournament scheduled for Friday, 10th October 2025. The team departed on Tuesday, 7th at 10:00 PM, heading to the coastal city to commemorate the 20th anniversary of with a vibrant sporting event set for Thursday and Friday.

This highly anticipated tournament will see four fierce competitors vying for glory: Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards, Shabana, and Bandari. While the excitement mounts for the upcoming matches, Gor Mahia will face a challenge, as six key players are currently on national team duty and will be unavailable for selection.

The squad that will represent Gor Mahia in Mombasa is a mix of seasoned talent and promising young players, featuring:

Gad Mathews, Paul Ochuoga, Joshua Onyango, Levin Odhiambo, Siraj Mohamed, Bryson Wangae, Felix Oluoch, Veron Ombima, Christopher Ochieng, Kevin Omondi, Fidel Origa, Lawrence Juma, Ernest Wendo, Bryton Onyona, Enock Morrisson, George Amonno, Ebenezer Adukwaw, Mark Shaban, Patrice Esombe, Sherif Musa, Philemon Otieno, Samuel Kapen, Reagan Ogola.

Guiding this talented group is a dedicated coaching staff consisting of:

Charles Akonnor, Kobi Mensah Bismark, Ben Owu, Joshua Kofi, Brian Odongo, George Abanga.

At the helm of the delegation is Ronald Ngala, who will oversee the team’s activities throughout the tournament.

The atmosphere in Mombasa is expected to be electric, with passionate supporters from across the region coming together to celebrate not only the sport of football but also the spirit of community and unity embodied in the ODM’s anniversary.
