In a commendable display of support for local sports, the Eliud Owalo Foundation has donated 30 sets of tracksuits to Kisumu All Stars FC. The presentation took place at an event held at Kisumu Day High School, where community members gathered to witness the generous contribution.
The donation was made possible through the collective efforts of the foundation and was highlighted by the presence of several celebrated former Kenyan soccer internationals, including Peter Dawo, John “Bobby” Ogolla, George Onyango “Fundi,” James Goro Oronge, Micke Otieno, and Gerald Omollo “Chonjo.”
Their participation underscored the importance of nurturing local talent and fostering community spirit through sports.
Also in attendance were notable Maseno School alumni Kasuku Achilla and Patrick Lumumba Omedo, who shared in the excitement of the event and the positive impact that such donations can have on young athletes.
The tracksuits are expected to enhance team spirit and provide the players with a sense of pride and identity as they represent Kisumu All Stars FC in their sporting endeavors.
This initiative not only promotes sports in the region but also encourages the youth to engage in physical activities, promoting health and teamwork.
The Eliud Owalo Foundation continues to demonstrate its commitment to empowering local communities through various initiatives, with sports being a key area of focus.
