Kenya all-time champions Gor Mahia have placed an advertisement for a qualified coach to help improve the team. They have opened the application window for interested candidates.
The club announced the head coach position on their official Facebook page and invited qualified candidates to apply.
To qualify, applicants must have either a CAF A Pro Diploma or a UEFA Pro Licence. The club is looking for candidates with a strong track record in competitive leagues, good leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage athletes under pressure. Candidates should also know modern football tactics, sports science, and data analytics.
Having experience in African leagues or CAF competitions, being multilingual, and having a background in youth football development are additional advantages.
The new coach will lead the team’s technical and tactical development in line with the club’s long-term goals. They will also work with the technical team and club management on player recruitment while following club policies and the rules of FKF, CAF, and FIFA.
