As we near the exciting finish of the 2024/2025 FKF Premier League season, it’s a great time to check in on our defending champions, Gor Mahia FC! This season has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with some unexpected twists. In a surprising turn of events, one team managed to snag all the points from Gor Mahia, while last year, only Kenya Police FC was able to earn a total of 4 points in their matchups with them.
Nairobi City Stars have really shined this season against K’Ogalo, winning both their home and away matches against Gor Mahia. Just a year ago, they faced tough losses of 2-0 in both games.
Tusker FC is another team that has seen a great turnaround! They’ve picked up four points this season after not winning any matches against Gor Mahia last year. Then there’s Bidco United, who also did well this season, securing four points against K’Ogalo compared to just one point last season.

The “Makarao” have already taken 3 points from Gor Mahia and are eager to grab the remaining 3 points to match the tally of Nairobi City Stars. It’s definitely a match you won’t want to miss!
Murang’a Seal had a tough time last season, managing only one point after a home loss and an away draw. This year, though, they’ve improved significantly, earning two draws against K’Ogalo.
Our beloved arch-rivals, AFC Leopards, have also turned things around. After losing in both encounters last season, they managed to secure a draw in the first leg this year. The second leg, set for June 1st, is sure to be thrilling!
Newcomer Shabana FC faced a tough challenge last season against Gor Mahia, losing both matches. However, they turned the tide this season, earning a point in their match at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos! In a fun twist this season, both KCB and Kakamega Homeboyz have really stepped up their game! After earning just 1 point each last season, they’ve shown their determination by drawing against K’Ogalo in both home and away matches.
Gor Mahia Stats Season 2023/2024
Gor Mahia wrapped up last season with an impressive 74 points, but this season has been tough for them, as they currently sit at 54 points. However, there’s still a glimmer of hope! If they can win all three of their challenging upcoming matches, they can add a maximum of 9 points to their total. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and see how this season unfolds!
