Kenya’s undisputed champion, Gor Mahia,, is making strides by launching online ticketing, complete with instant revenue collection reports. This positive move not only enhances convenience for customers but also boosts efficiency. Get ready for a seamless ticketing experience!

In their last match against Mara Sugar FC, K’Ogalo reported a total revenue of Ksh 475,500 from the sale of 2,190 tickets, which included 2,125 regular tickets and 65 VIPs. However, the club expressed some concern about a segment of fans who entered the match venue without purchasing tickets.

In light of this, Club Treasurer Gerphas Okkuku kindly encouraged fans who may have been sneaking into games to reflect on their actions and consider supporting the club by purchasing tickets.

“I appeal to fans to buy tickets to watch matches; free entry does present challenges for the club,” stated Gor Mahia Treasurer Gerphas Okkuku in a communication shared via the club’s social media accounts.

The latest revenue is nearly three times the Ksh 160,600 that Gor Mahia earned from their previous match against FC Talanta, where they faced a 1-0 defeat. During that match, 733 regular tickets were sold, yielding Ksh 146,600, along with 28 VIP tickets that contributed an additional Ksh 14,000.

Gor Mahia is inspired by their rivals AFC Leopards and Shabana, who have been transparent about their gate collections from home matches, fostering trust and engagement with their fans.

While Gor Mahia is making significant strides, they are still working towards catching up with rivals such as Shabana, who have reported earnings exceeding Ksh 1.8 million from matches held at their home venue in Gusii Stadium.

The club’s management looks forward to learning from Shabana when they meet K’Ogalo at Gusii Stadium this weekend for a crucial league match, which is expected to draw an enthusiastic crowd.
